About Me
Hi! Thank you for your interest in THRIVE PT and for taking the time to learn about me. I am looking forward to empowering you in your recovery in order to return to your active lifestyle quickly.
I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2005 with a B.S. in kinesiology with a movement science option and medical emphasis. I went on to attend graduate school at Slippery Rock University and graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. I was fortunate to move back to my hometown of Russell, Pennsylvania where I worked for five years as an outpatient staff physical therapist. In 2013, I became the facility director of a private practice. Since then, I have become more specialized in the McKenzie™ method, fascial movement taping, dry cupping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. I have also completed continuing education in evaluation and treatment of the injured runner and overhead throwing athlete. As an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor, I enjoy supervising and instructing physical therapy students during their clinical rotations. Before opening THRIVE PT, I worked at a Sports Center of Excellence in the Erie area rehabilitating athletes of a variety of ages and involved in a multitude of sports.
Additionally, I am involved in Caring For Life, a local philanthropy that provides financial and emotional assistance to families in Warren County with seriously ill children. I have served on the board of directors since 2009.
Most importantly, I am the mom of a spunky six-year-old who brings me so much joy!
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, cheering on my alma mater’s football team (WE ARE!), and distance running. I am in pursuit of becoming an Adirondack forty-sixer and I am almost there. Forty-two high peaks down, four to go!
